Stephen C. Royal, the Director of Liturgy and Music, has received BA degrees from Western Michigan University in Music, Religion and Social Work. He also received an Associates degree in Worship Arts (managiing contemporary music) from the Worship Arts Academy. He studied voice with Joyce Zastrow and Joan Troyer, choral conducting with Mel Ivey and Wishart Bell, organ performance with Kim Kasling, Katheryn Lowe and John Balka, liturgical law with John Huels at the University of Notre Dame, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Theology and Ministry at Franciscan University.
